THE JOY WE ARE YET TO EXPERIENCE... IT'S TANGIBLE!

A Dream ... Just a year ago last summer, I was on a camping trip and I had a most profound dream. In this dream Joy came down ON THIS EARTH and I was almost speechless. It fell on all Believers and as I looked around, I loved everyone and saw God's Glory and felt GREAT UNSPEAKABLE JOY no matter what I saw. It was the most wonderful feeling I had ever experienced -- even on the most wonderful day of my life on earth to that point. Everything was beautiful and bathed in light. I remarked to someone words to the effect, "I thought it would only be like this IN HEAVEN." But then, even in the dream, I realized this was a promise of what God intended in the near future for us ON EARTH, EVEN BEFORE HEAVEN. I shared this with the others on the church campout with us -- during a most troubling and tense get-together (the whole weekend was somewhat tense). Interesting time for the Lord to give this dream, don't you think? I have never forgotten this profound dream and I believe it will be fulfilled quite literally, even before Heaven. How it all works together, I don't know but the Scripture is clear. Read this passage and ask yourself if it sounds like the dream I had and like what you are about to read after the scripture:

Isaiah 60:1-5  1"Arise, shine, for your LIGHT has come, and the GLORY of the LORD RISES UPON YOU. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and HIS GLORY APPEARS OVER YOU. 3 Nations will come to YOUR LIGHT, and kings to the BRIGHTNESS OF YOUR DAWN. 4 Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons will come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm. 5 THEN YOU WILL LOOK AND BE RADIANT, your heart will throb and SWELL WITH JOY; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come."

THE SHEKINAH GLORY

The Lord gave me a dream, and this is what it was ...

I was in the garage cleaning it out and getting it ready. It was in the evening and I knew that it was on a Wednesday, because it was the day that you drag everything down to the end of the driveway for garbage pickup. It was as if I was expecting a prophecy to be fulfilled. I could really feel it in my spirit. Then, suddenly, I heard a crowd of people loudly proclaiming "His Kingdom, His Kingdom". It was so loud that it pierced the silence of the evening. Then as soon as they were finished with that, it happened. It didn't roll in like a fog or mist would, it just fell!

I asked God if the rainbows meant that the full spectrum of light would be in them, He then turned and pointed His finger and said, "Do not think as people do, because I do not think as you do, think as I do." He was very stern in this.

Then He showed me that the promises of God were fulfilled in them, and this is what it meant. It was so very awesome. Whatever is about to happen will take place very soon when everyone comes into unity and cries out to Him for His Kingdom to come.

It was His Shekinah Glory! It just fell! No warning or anything. It was so awesome that I kept looking towards the ceiling thinking that I was about to be raptured at any moment. Well, that didn't happen. then the Lord told me that THIS was for the earth. It was not time to go yet. I looked out into the glory. I saw silhouettes of people walking around in it. They had a full section of a rainbow in them. Then all of a sudden I fell to my face. My eyes closed and there was a tremendous heaviness. The Lord then told me that no one man could contain His Glory. It was so very awesome.

I have never experienced anything like it. My words here don't even do this justice. When I awoke, I began asking the Lord what all of this meant. He showed me that the evening meant that this would take place in the evening of this age, just before the 'night' approaches. This is meant for the earth. It meant that this is going to feel like heaven on earth. So many things will happen during this time. When I asked Him about the rainbows inside the people, He first showed me that I could only see their silhouettes because His Glory would so cover them who walk in this would take on the likeness of God and that they would see Jesus when they looked at these people.

PROPHETIC JOY

Jesus said He wanted our joy to be full, and it will be precisely this sort of joy that
the prophets of the new millennium demonstrate -- a God-breathed, Holy Spirit joy.

Deep Abiding Joy
The prophets will walk in a deep abiding joy - something enduring, something supernatural. This joy will be difficult to explain at first, difficult to put into words or to articulate in speech. It will be a joy that they are unaccustomed to, something unfamiliar, different, and distinct. Yet, it will be a joy that unleashes incredible power -- a catalyst for supernatural phenomenon. this power-packed joy will compensate for the sacrifice, rejection, pain, and suffering they will experience as they travel world-wide, serving the Lord. This joy of the Lord will be their strength, literally becoming the new trademark of the worldwide prophets of the 21st century.

Smiling Through the Storms
These joyful 21st century prophets will be the most down-to-earth, accessible, relational men and women in the Church. Although they will take what they do for God very seriously, they will not take themselves seriously. They will be real. They will be an unassuming bunch, a group of regular men and women -- ordinary people with extraordinary gifts. When called upon by God, however, they will operate in great power and demonstration of the Spirit. They will smile through the storms, laugh in the face of danger, and shout for joy at the great things God will do through them. They will be a happy troupe, with gladness in their hearts, their service to God giving them the most pleasure. They will delight in the Lord, bringing Him the Glory.

Great Encouragers
These prophets will be known as great encouragers. In fact, this will be their ultimate legacy to the Church. They will specialize in the healing of the complete individual -- spirit, soul and body. They will bring hope where there was no hope. They will snatch victory out of defeat, turning nearly impossible situations around their strong prophetic gift. They will spread joy wherever they go, depositing this gift of joy in churches around the world.

Joyful Traveling
Many prophets will experience geographical moves as the Holy Spirit relocates them nearer to metropolitan areas. Access to international airports will be a priority because the need to fly out quickly to the nations will be great. Sudden, unexpected invitations, in the early morning hours will awaken the prophets, and they will answer the call of God, traveling on a moment's notice to many lands. Even this strenuous demand on their gifting, however, will result in more joy being poured out upon them.
