From the Butterfly
On Vessels

Note: Ever since I was a little girl, I have been fascinated by
the butterfly. To me, it is one of God's greatest marvels. From such lowly
beginnings, it is transformed into a masterpiece of art in motion. To my
mind, it reminds me of transformed thinking. To my body, it reminds me
that someday I will never, ever have an ache or pain. To my soul, it reminds
me that I will always rest with Him. To my spirit, it reminds me that I am
free -- today and always because I have cocooned myself in Him. Someday all
that is in me, that He created for His glory, will resurrect with Him.

Watch
and Listen
From Gramps
Elkhart, Indiana
Author Unknown |
The
man whispered, "God, speak to me" and a meadowlark sang.
But the man did not
hear.
So the man yelled, "God, speak to me!" and the thunder rolled
across the sky.
But the man did not
listen.
The man looked around and said, "God, let me see you." and a star
shined brightly.
But the man did not
notice.
And the man shouted, "God, show me a miracle!" and a life was
born.
But the man did not
notice.
So, the man cried out in despair, "Touch me, God, and let me know you
are here!"
Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man.
But, the man brushed
the butterfly away and walked on.
Don't
miss out on a blessing
because it isn't packaged the way that you expect.
Parable
of the Butterfly
by Eva McAllen 1998
Butterflies
for Jesus
"The
caterpillar and it's metamorphosis into a butterfly is a wondrous parable of
our miraculous change as we become Christians.
The
caterpillar is imprisoned in a way, as he is only able to crawl or climb
trees and bushes; always in contact with the bush or tree limb. He only
knows how to eat..." Read

Don't
you think that's a long and complex

Well, take a look at their patterns

Complex,

BORN
AGAIN
by Mark Henter Beautiful
butterfly, joyfully free
No longer awkward or earthbound to be
The way it was changed
Tells what has happened to me The
image of the butterfly
Born again and made new
All because of Jesus
Now I am born again too The
old me is gone
My spirit is new
The change that took place
I owe all to you It
didn't take long, an instant or so
You are with me Lord Jesus, wherever I go
The change was complete, now I am free
Made in His image, a follower I'll be The
story is not over, the work incomplete
I have to tell others, whoever I meet
go to the Cross of Jesus, open your heart
Like the butterfly, you will have a new start |
